Queen Elizabeth's School is looking for a Teacher of Economics & Business to join our fantastic Business department. Could this be you?

Actual Salary £31,650 - £49,084 per annum per annum (M1 to UP3).

Start Date: 1 September 2025

Are you a passionate and innovative educator with expertise in Economics & Business?

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and ambitious professional to join our upper school which is committed to securing the best academic and personal development outcomes for our students.

Our thriving Business department is currently able to offer a Teacher of Economics & Business post on a full-time permanent basis. The department is very well resourced and as a result of the high numbers of students who opt for subjects within the department, in the Sixth Form there will be the opportunity to teach a significant amount of teaching at both A Level and BTEC.

Ideally We Would Like To Appoint Some Who Has

  • An awareness of Rosenshine’s principles of instruction
  • An understanding of key substantive and disciplinary concepts in business principles, economics and entrepreneurship
  • An awareness of some of the concepts explored in Tom Sherrington’s ‘Walkthru’ series or Doug Lemov’s ‘Teach Like a Champion’ series
  • An ability to promote excellent standards of student learning, achievement, progress, attainment and behaviour through working effectively and collaboratively
  • An ability to deliver inspirational lessons
