English is an extremely successful and popular subject at Graveney. Key Stage 4 results in June 2025 were 93% grades 9 -4 in Language and 92% in Literature. Key Stage 5 results are also well above the national average and there are currently over 160 students studying English Literature at A/AS Level. The Department employs a range of dynamic teaching styles and is committed to innovative and diverse curriculum development. Many members of the Department teach across the age and ability range at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
