The Opportunity

We are looking for someone who can bring Food & Design Technology to life through engaging, practical and creative learning experiences.

You Will:

  • Deliver high-quality Food and Design Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Inspire students to develop creativity, resilience and problem-solving skills.
  • Plan and deliver engaging practical and theoretical learning.
  • Monitor, assess and support student progress.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities.
  • Create a positive culture of high expectations and achievement.
  • Uphold the Oasis ethos and values in all aspects of academy life.

You Will:

Who We Are Looking For

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have a relevant degree in Food Technology, Design Technology or a related subject
  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and passion for your subject
  • Have successful experience teaching at Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Be committed to securing excellent outcomes for all students
  • Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Be reflective, resilient and committed to continuous professional development

For Subject Lead Applicants

You Will Also Demonstrate:

  • Experience of curriculum leadership or leading aspects of teaching and learning.
  • The ability to inspire and develop colleagues.
  • A clear vision for raising achievement and engagement within the subject.
  • The drive and ambition to lead curriculum development and enrichment opportunities.
