Salary: MPS or UPS

If you are passionate about educating young people about Food and Nutrition/Textiles/Child Development, you would be welcome to join our highly and successful Technology Department.

The Governors of Pershore High School wish to appoint an engaging and enthusiastic teacher of Food and Nutrition with Textiles and Child Development from 1st September 2026 to cover Maternity leave; the key vision for the Compliant Materials Department is to make Food, Textiles and Child Development a destination our students are excited and eager to attend. Our focus is to develop the KS4 and KS5 provision in these areas and it is important that the successful candidate will be motivated by the opportunity to support the development of the curriculum to achieve this vision. We are entering an exciting time in the development of the Compliant Materials Department; we look forward to welcoming an enthusiastic, innovative, and collaborative teacher.

We currently have 1059 students on roll in Years 7-13 of which 226 are on the SEND Register, 44 of whom have EHCPs. This includes 12 students who are part of our Mainstream Autism Base (MAB). In addition, 20% of students are in receipt of the Pupil Premium Grant. We have been awarded a £26.3 million expansion and rebuilding project which started in September 2025 which will significantly enhance our facilities.
