Teacher of Maths – Fixed-Term (One Term) Position
King James Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Maths to join our successful Maths department on a fixed-term basis until 31st December 2026.
An exciting opportunity exists for a talented practitioner with a passion for Mathematics and a commitment to helping all pupils reach their full potential. This role is open to both Early Career Teachers and experienced classroom practitioners.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, engaging Maths lessons across all age and ability ranges
- Inspire pupils to build confidence, curiosity, and enjoyment in Mathematics
- Plan and deliver challenging and inclusive learning experiences ensuring strong progress for all learners
- Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and inform teaching strategies
- Contribute to the development and delivery of a broad, ambitious and well-sequenced Maths curriculum
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and continually improve teaching and learning
- Actively engage with enrichment, super-curricular, and extra-curricular opportunities, fostering a balanced academic experience for pupils
