Through our Ofsted-registered independent school, we provide tailored support for: ✔ Young people who have faced school exclusion or pupil referral unit (PRU) settings ✔ Those requiring additional support beyond mainstream education
Job Description
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and manage subject-specific learning programmes for 13-16-year-olds, with a focus on tracking progress and ensuring long-term development of vulnerable and complex learners—including personal development.
- Act as part of the behaviour management team, supporting students with challenging behaviours and complex needs.
- Design and maintain Schemes of Work that address academic and pastoral needs, ensuring always-ready materials for inspections.
- Achieve strong pupil outcomes: Drive high-quality teaching to reflect positively in school qualifications data at the end of each academic year.
- Educational requirements: Access to a vehicle is essential for this role.

Key Requirements
- Proven experience in subject specialist teaching (secondary level, preferably alternative education)
- Strong ability to manage high-support, complex-learning needs in a diverse student body
- Pastoral care experience, able to engage with indirect mentions
- DBS check at Enhanced level is mandatory (part of recruitment process)
- Commitment to Catch22’s safeguarding policies (all members require child protection readiness)
- Must exhibit bespoke patience, professionalism, and resilience for an alternative setting

- Salary: ₹31,775 – ₹41,000 per annum
