Teacher Vacancies – Maths, English, Science, Humanities & PE

Five Rivers Child Care is excited to be growing our education team at River Valley School, a brand-new provision opening Early 2026. We are looking for passionate and committed Teachers across Maths, English, Science, Humanities and PE to join us in transforming the lives of children and young people aged 6–18 years.


About the Role

As a Teacher with Five Rivers, every day brings variety and purpose. You’ll work within a trauma-informed model, delivering bespoke therapeutic educational frameworks tailored to the individual needs of our young people. Our school proudly holds the Attachment and Trauma Sensitive School Award, reflecting our commitment to therapeutic, relationship-based practice.

You'll be part of a developing school with a strong vision, working alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team, where creativity, flexibility, and empathy are key. You’ll have the opportunity to shape curriculum delivery within your subject area while contributing to the wider life and culture of our nurturing new school.

River Valley School is a brand-new school opening early 2026. We will be supporting children and young people aged 6–18 years, offering a therapeutic, bespoke learning package, aiming for the best outcomes for our young people.

What We’re Looking For

We welcome applications from Teachers with experience or a strong interest in working within alternative or therapeutic education settings. You will need:

  • Good written and IT skills
  • Strong communication skills with children, colleagues, and external professionals
  • The ability to actively listen and build meaningful, supportive relationships
  • NQTS or QTS registration
  • A valid driving licence (essential)
  • The Right to Work in the UK
