About The Role

We are seeking a committed Teaching and Learning Coach to support the effective delivery of College services and priorities.

Interviews for this role will take place on the 16th July 2026.

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will:

Drive and support high-quality apprenticeship and work-based learning provision across all curriculum areas. Coach, mentor, and challenge tutors, assessors, and skills coaches to improve teaching, learning, and assessment practice. Conduct learning walks, quality reviews, and learner work scrutiny to identify strengths and areas for improvement. Design and deliver CPD, training, and professional development activities to enhance staff capability and performance. Ensure apprenticeship delivery aligns with standards, Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours (KSBs), and End-Point Assessment (EPA) requirements. Analyse performance and quality data to identify trends, implement improvement actions, and monitor their impact on learner outcomes. Contribute to quality assurance, self-assessment, and continuous improvement planning while promoting innovative and evidence-based teaching practices. Carry out duties in line with College policies and procedures, including safeguarding and equality commitments

Skills And Experience

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

Demonstrable success in delivering and supporting high-quality apprenticeship and work-based learning programmes that achieve strong learner outcomes. Experience of driving improvements in teaching, learning, and assessment, particularly within apprenticeship and work-based learning settings. Strong understanding of effective teaching strategies, assessment methods, and quality assurance processes. Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop staff, including designing and delivering impactful training and professional development activities. Hold a recognised post-16 teaching qualification, Assessor and/or IQA qualification, and Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English.
