Nurture Education is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools in Edgware.
This exciting Primary Teaching Assistant opportunity is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting children's learning and development. Schools are looking for a committed Primary Teaching Assistant who can work closely with class teachers to help pupils achieve their full potential both academically and socially.
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting classroom learning, promoting positive behaviour and helping to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.

The Role – Primary Teaching Assistant
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, You Will
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons. Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning. Assist with classroom preparation and resource organisation. Promote positive behaviour and support pupil wellbeing. Help create an inclusive learning environment where all children can thrive. Support pupils with varying learning needs, including SEND where required. Encourage pupil participation, confidence and independence. Contribute positively to the wider school community.
Requirements – Primary Teaching Assistant
To be considered for this Primary Teaching Assistant role, you will need:
Previous experience working as a Primary Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or within a school environment. A genuine passion for supporting children's education and development. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A patient, caring and proactive approach. The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
