Teaching Assistant (12 Month Fixed Term)

Key Dates

  • Deadline for Applications: 13/07/26
  • Interview Date: Week commencing 20/07/26

Who We Are

Our children come from a wide range of backgrounds but all have Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH). Many may also have other Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including:

  • Autism
  • ADHD
  • Communication difficulties

We are trauma- and attachment-informed, ensuring all staff receive extensive therapeutic training and support as part of our closely connected approach. This method places the child centre-stage in all decisions, encouraging collaborative working between education and therapy professionals, parents/carers, local authority teams, and most importantly, our students. Our goal is to deliver outstanding outcomes for every child.

The Role

Every day is unique in our school—just like every child. This is a role for very special adults who can support children with complex and challenging behaviours.

Key Responsibilities

Our Teaching Assistants (TAs) wear many hats, wearing them with resilience, persistence, and a solution-focused mindset. Your day may include:

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
