We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to:
- Support children with barriers to learning, including:
- Dyslexic profiles
- Dyscalculia
- Neurodivergence
- Primarily work with KS2 pupils
- Collaborate as part of a small team
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience supporting children in a classroom (preferred but not required)
- Strong understanding of:
- Child development
- Children with differing needs and learning challenges
- Ability to build relationships with:
- Students
- Staff
- Parents
- Proficiency in:
- Maths
- English
- High academic and behavioural expectations
- Commitment to the school’s Christian values
- Familiarity with safeguarding
- Professional demeanour reinforced by school values

Working Terms
- Hours per week: 21 (TA2) + 1.5 (MDSA)
- Pattern: Part-time, term-time only
- Equivalent to:
- 39 weeks (working)
- 6.05 weeks (annual leave) (Annual leave increases after 5 years’ continuous service)
- Equivalent to:
- Prorates salary proportionally due to part-time/term-time only hours
- Contract: Fixed term, 12 months (until July 2027)
