Contract Details
- Hours: 17 hours as Teaching Assistant (TA2), 5 hours as Lunchtime Supervisor (MDSA) per week
- Working Pattern: Part-time, term-time only (39 weeks/year + 6.05 weeks annual leave)
- Salary: Pro-rated (fixed-term, 12 months)
- Closing Date: Monday 13 July 2026, noon

About the Role
St Michael’s Church of England Primary School has a foundation built on Christian values: Love, Honesty, Forgiveness & Respect, aiming to create a caring, enriching environment for every pupil.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children in a classroom setting (preferably but not exclusively with KS1 pupils)
- Work as part of a small team to positively impact pupils' education
- Required strengths:
- Experience in supporting students, especially those with differing needs (including neurodivergence)
- Strong understanding of child development
- Ability to build trust with students, staff, and parents
- Competency in maths and English
- High professional standards
- Commitment to the school’s Christian values -Proficiency in safeguarding procedures
- A positive, professional approach aligning with the school’s ethos

Additional Information
- Previous school experience is welcomed but not essential. Enthusiasm and willingness to learn are valued.
- This role follows a 12-month fixed-term contract until July 2027.
- Must comply with Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2018.
