Teaching Assistant Opportunities at Peakirk-cum-Glinton Primary Academy
Are you a compassionate, flexible, and committed individual with a passion for supporting children across the primary age range? We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work across year groups at Peakirk-cum-Glinton Primary Academy, supporting individuals, groups, and whole classes, as well as delivering targeted interventions.
About The Role
This is a varied and rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference across our school. You will support teaching and learning from Early Years through to Year 6, helping all children to thrive in our inclusive environment.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting individuals, small groups, and whole-class learning across year groups
- Delivering targeted interventions to support progress in areas such as literacy, numeracy, and social development
- Supporting pupils with a range of needs, including SEND
- Working collaboratively with class teachers, the SENDCo, and other professionals
- Promoting a positive, nurturing, and well-structured learning environment
- Contributing to assessment and pupil progress
- Communicating effectively with families where appropriate

Working Pattern
- 25 hours per week
- Full-time or job share considered
- Applicants wishing to job share should specify preferred working days.

We're Looking For Someone Who
- Has experience working with children across the primary age range
- Is confident supporting a variety of learning needs, including SEND
- Can lead small group work and interventions effectively
- Is adaptable, proactive, and able to work across different classes and key stages
- Works well both independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrates patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
- Has experience in Early Years (desirable)
- Holds a Level 3 qualification (desirable for 25-hour role)

We are seeking dedicated and adaptable individuals who are committed to supporting children’s development across all ages, from Preschool through to Year 6. Staff are expected to demonstrate flexibility and may be required to work across both the Pre-School and School settings to ensure continuity in our high standard of education and care.
