Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Location: M20

Pay Rates: GBP14.25 to GBP16.65 per hour

Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday

Reeson Education are working with a fantastic primary school in the M20 area. We are currently looking to recruit a confident teaching assistant to work on a 1:1 basis in their SEN provision within school.

This inspirational primary school has massively improved over the last few years and continues to grow and flourish. There is a high importance placed on making students feel positive and happy within school, creating an ethos where every child can be confident in their own abilities and grow into the best version of themselves. Results attained at this school are higher than the national average which reflects staff dedication to providing the best possible education for pupils.

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities

  • Supporting children with additional needs in their academic and personal growth and assisting the teacher when delivering lessons and activities to meet individual needs and abilities
  • Promoting a positive and nurturing learning environment where children want to be and want to learn
  • Encouraging independence and enabling pupils to achieve
  • Implementing individual education plans, behaviour and care strategies and promoting positive behaviour and encouraging pupils to make the right choices
  • Take part in regular training sessions provided by school

The successful teaching assistant will be a caring and compassionate individual with a drive to enable children with additional needs to achieve success in their education and to ensure all individual needs are met.

This role is Monday to Friday. The teaching assistant position is on a long-term basis with the chance to move onto a school contract.
