Ixworth Church of England Primary School are seeking an outstanding Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our warm, caring and dynamic team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and motivated teaching assistant to become part of a successful, forward-thinking school community. As our school continues to grow, including the addition of an extra class from September, we are expanding our support team and are looking to appoint an additional teaching assistant, with the role available for the 2026 to 27 academic year in the first instance.
We are passionate about ensuring that every child reaches their full potential, whilst nurturing a lifelong love of learning and curiosity about the world around them. Guided by our vision “On a journey together where learning has no limits” we provide a rich curriculum and a wide range of experiences designed to inspire, empower and help every pupil to flourish.
You will:
- have experience of working with children in a primary school setting
- be flexible and can use their own initiative
- work independently and as part of a team
- be willing to undertake a range of duties
- be resilient, hardworking and self-motivated
- manage change well and support pupils in a variety of situations
- have high expectations of children’s behaviour and achievements
- have excellent English and mathematics skills
- possess initiative and the ability to communicate well with both teaching staff and pupils
- have a good sense of humour!
