Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistant A specialist school in South Gloucester is looking for a teaching assistant to start ASAP until the end of the academic year on a fixed term contract. Pay rate is £104 to £115 per day. This is a school that aims to give all of their students the skills for each aspect of their life. The needs of the students include severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning disabilities, autism, and physical or sensory disability, with students' ages ranging from 2 to 19. The school aims to prepare their students for life outside of school and afterwards by committing to providing a balanced curriculum and a range of teaching styles. This school takes their learning outside the classroom, aiming to inspire all of their students. There is a strong focus on ensuring the curriculum is varied and that their staff has the skills to adapt how they support each of their students. A caring nature and an adaptable approach would be key in ensuring that each child gets the best possible support. A successful teaching assistant would be able to take different approaches with each student, ensuring their individual needs are met.
