Internal Job Title: Teaching and Learning Assistant
Strategic Direction and Development
- Provide outstanding support to enable students with additional needs including those with SEN to play a full and active part in the life of the school and to make outstanding progress in their learning.
- Support the teacher in the classroom and in preparation for lessons.
- Support children in their educational and social development.
- Help develop programmes of learning activities and adapt appropriate materials.
- Motivate and encourage students.

You will have:
- NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent.
- Experience of working with children in a school setting.
- The ability to maintain positive relationships with students and other adults.
- The ability to work with pupils on a one to one, small groups and whole class.
- The ability to work effectively within a team.
