Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistant Vacancy – Oasis Academy Marksbury Road
We will be interviewing on the 22nd July for this role.
Oasis Academy Marksbury Road currently has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated practitioner to join the team as a Teaching Assistant, supporting teaching staff with responsibility for the development and educational provision of learners.
Job Overview
You’ll be responsible for assisting with:
- Planning, preparation, and delivery of lesson provision (both whole-class and individual)
- Preparing resources to support learning activities
- Ensuring pupils are supported pastorally
- Contributing to evaluating student progress
- Providing feedback to class teachers to meet the learning needs of all students

Job Requirements
- Preferred: Teaching Assistant qualification
- Experience in:
- Class supervision
- Assisting with lesson provision for positive learning outcomes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teaching staff
- Empathy and understanding of students’ needs
- Experience working with children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities)
