The Role
As a Teaching Assistant in Twickenham, you will:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative lessons.
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to boost confidence and progress.
- Help create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
- Support children with varying learning needs, including those with additional needs where required.
- Encourage positive behaviour and promote children's wellbeing throughout the school day.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

The Ideal Candidate
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
- Previous experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare or youth setting (desirable but not essential).
- A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
- Graduates considering a future career in teaching are strongly encouraged.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
