Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality classroom support to assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
- Offer dedicated pastoral support, acting as a trusted mentor for students requiring emotional or behavioral guidance.
- Assist in managing classroom dynamics safely and effectively, promoting positive behavior.
- Monitor student progress, adapt learning resources, and collaborate with staff on support plans.
- Contribute to a safe, positive, and encouraging wider school community.
Requirements
- Proven experience supporting young people within a secondary school or alternative educational setting.
- A strong understanding of pastoral care, safeguarding, and student well-being.
- Excellent communication and de-escalation skills, with the ability to build quick rapport.
- An enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Full right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available).
