Learning Support Worker (Adult Services)

Location: Cranleigh, Surrey (Near Guildford)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 (Full-time and Part-time options available)

Position Overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen for experienced Care and Support professionals seeking to transition their expertise into a structured, specialist educational and day service environment. Operating within a dedicated facility in Cranleigh, this role allows you to utilise your clinical and care competencies to support autistic adults, whilst benefiting from predictable, sociable working hours.

This position is ideally suited to Support Workers, Care Assistants, or Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) looking to move away from erratic shift patterns and transition into a goal-oriented, multidisciplinary framework.

  • Sociable, Fixed Hours: Strictly Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00. No weekend commitments, evening shifts, or sleep-ins.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver individualized, goal-oriented learning and development plans for autistic adults.
  • Facilitate safe and engaging community access initiatives.

  • Maintain the highest standards of personal care, ensuring privacy, dignity, and respect at all times.
  • Adhere to strict safeguarding protocols and maintain meticulous, accurate daily records.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience: Proven professional background as a Support Worker, Care Assistant, or Healthcare Assistant.
  • Competencies: Demonstrated confidence in managing complex needs and implementing behavioural intervention strategies.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a collaborative approach to teamwork, and a high level of administrative accuracy.
  • Compliance: Appointment is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
