About the Role
The Teaching Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the school’s vision by:
- Supporting pupils’ learning, development, and wellbeing
- Collaborating with class teachers to ensure every child has equitable access to the curriculum and achieves their potential
- Providing small-group and one-on-one support
- Delivering planned interventions, preparing resources, and helping during the school day

Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will:
- Support pupils with learning, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing
- Assist in delivering activities and interventions with teachers
- Foster a calm, structured, and positive classroom environment
- Promote confidence, resilience, and positive relationships among children
- Actively contribute to the school community beyond the classroom
Requirements
You must have:
- A good standard of English and Maths, ideally achieving GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent (or beyond)
- Prior experience in child support or the ** Esseential skills/commitment** to succeed in this role
- A warm, dependable, and flexible attitude
- Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team
