Pay rate - £92.63 - £120 per day
We are currently working with a warm, inclusive and nurturing special school that provides high-quality education and care for pupils with a range of special educational needs. The school is committed to helping every child achieve their full potential in a supportive and well-structured environment throughout Primary and Secondary age.
They are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team and support pupils across the school. This position starts in September until July 2027 on a full-time basis.

About the role:
- Supporting pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, communication difficulties and social, emotional and mental health needs
- Working closely with class teachers and the wider support team to deliver tailored learning and care
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to help pupils access the curriculum
- Promoting positive behaviour, emotional regulation and independence
- Creating a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment
The ideal candidate:
- Has experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based or transferable experience welcomed)
- Is patient, empathetic and resilient, with a genuine passion for SEN education
- Can work effectively as part of a team and follow guidance from teachers and therapists
- Is proactive, reliable and committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
- Holds (or is willing to work towards) relevant SEN or childcare qualifications
