Opportunity for Permanent Employment and Teacher Training
Ideal for a Recent Graduate Looking to Develop a Career in Schools or Experienced Teaching Assistant
A Teaching Assistant is needed in a Mixed Secondary School and Sixth Form in South London.
This will be a full-time long-term Teaching Assistant position with scope to go permanent.
Working days and hours for this Teaching Assistant post will be Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.
Responsibilities for this Teaching Assistant role will include but not be limited to:
- Supporting SEN and LAP students in group or whole class intervention sessions
- Working with the teachers to ensure each student's learning needs are identified
- Attending to students' social, emotional, and personal needs when required
- Supporting behaviour management and using appropriate strategies in line with academy policy
- Undertaking learning activities/teaching programmes when needed
The rates of pay for this Teaching Assistant position will be between GBP99.75 to GBP116.55 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

Requirements
Applications are welcome if you're a recent Graduate or experienced Teaching Assistant.
You're also welcome if you're a British-trained Teaching Assistant or overseas-trained Teaching Assistant.
All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this post as a Teaching Assistant:
- Right to work in the UK
- Clear and up-to-date Enhanced DBS
- UK Bachelor's Degree or overseas equivalent
- Experience of working with children/teenagers or as a Teaching Assistant in UK schools
