Teaching Assistant

Location: Stradbroke High School

Salary: SCP4 £25,185 – SCP6 £25,989 per annum. Salary Pro Rata: £11,405 - £11,982 per annum

Vacancy Type: Permanent, Part Time, 20 hrs per week

Stradbroke isn’t just a school — it’s a community. A place where students feel known, supported, and inspired. As one of the region’s top-performing schools, we pair high expectations with high care, offering a vibrant co-curricular programme and a culture where every child can excel. Ofsted’s 2023 visit captured what makes us special, recognising that we are “likely to be outstanding” when next graded.

The Role

We are expanding our team of Teaching Assistants to support a growing number of students with additional needs. You’ll be at the heart of the classroom, helping students engage confidently with their learning, while also delivering targeted small-group and 1:1 interventions such as ELSA that unlock progress.

Our SEND team is dynamic, dedicated, and deeply valued. If you’re someone who enjoys getting involved — from school trips to first-aid support — and you’re passionate about helping young people flourish, this role offers real purpose and impact.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
