Teaching Assistant Secondary School - Kingston upon Thames Up to £110 per day

Horizon Teachers is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in Kingston upon Thames from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced Teaching Assistants who are committed to helping students achieve their full potential.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students in the classroom, provide one-to-one and small group interventions, and help create a positive, inclusive learning environment where every student can succeed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is desirable)
- Delivering one-to-one and small group interventions
- Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities
- Supporting students with additional learning needs where required
- Encouraging student engagement, confidence, and academic progress
- Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
We're looking for candidates who:
- Have experience working with children or young people (school experience is desirable)
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Are patient, proactive, and enthusiastic
- Are passionate about supporting students to achieve their best
- Hold a degree (desirable but not essential)
