About the Role
We are seeking a caring and committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant who is fluent in Arabic to provide individual support to a student within a classroom setting. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the class teacher and support staff to help the student:
- Access learning materials effectively
- Develop confidence and independence
- Feel secure and understood in their learning environment
Fluency in English is also an essential requirement for this role.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a significant, positive impact on a young learner’s educational journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support to a designated student throughout the entire school day
- Support the student’s academic progress and engagement in lessons
- Use Arabic fluency as appropriate to enhance understanding and communication
- Assist with differentiating learning activities as directed by the teacher
- Support the student’s social, emotional, and behavioural needs
- Guide the student to develop independence and positive learning behaviours

Requirements
Essential
- Fluent in Arabic
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
- Right to work in the UK (Sponsorship or Skilled Worker visas not available)
- Two recent references (from within the past two years)
- Current DBS check on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one*
Note: If you lack a Non-Voluntary Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, Five Education will assist with processing a new one for £62.70 – refundable after 20 days of employment.
