Salary: £24,796 per annum pro rata (Grade 2 Point 3)
Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.45am – 3.15pm (term time only)

About the Role
Honington CE Primary School is a small, welcoming village school and part of All Saints Schools Trust. Our mission is founded on the values of kindness, excellence & friendship, shaping a strong sense of community for both children and staff.
As a Teaching Assistant (TA), your role is to support pupils’ learning, development, and wellbeing. Working closely with teachers, you will help ensure every child can access the curriculum effectively and reach their full potential.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Supporting children in class, including individual or small group guidance
- Assisting with planned interventions and resource preparation
- Safeguarding a calm, positive, and purposeful classroom environment
- Encouraging children’s confidence, independence, and positive relationships
- Contributing to the wider school community

- Support pupils’ learning, behaviour, and wellbeing in line with school policies
- Collaborate with teachers to deliver scheduled activities and interventions

Requirements
To excel in this role, you should:
The main purpose of the role of Teaching Assistant is to support pupils’ learning and wellbeing.
- Hold a standard of English & Maths (GCSE Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent proficiency
- Demonstrate experience working with children, or a willingness to develop through training
- Embody a warm, positive, and flexible attitude to aid children's progression
- Be team-oriented and committed to school values
