Teaching Assistant: Daily Supply: September 2026: Haringey Primary Schools
Are you looking for a flexible Teaching Assistant role that allows you to gain valuable classroom experience across a variety of welcoming Primary Schools?
We are recruiting enthusiastic Teaching Assistant candidates to work on a daily supply basis throughout Haringey from September 2026. This Teaching Assistant opportunity is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers and experienced Teaching Assistant professionals looking to broaden their experience before committing to a long-term position.
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, helping teachers deliver engaging lessons while providing additional support to children who need it most. Every Teaching Assistant day is different, allowing you to experience a range of schools and year groups.
Psychology graduates are especially encouraged. Working as a Teaching Assistant is a fantastic opportunity to put your theoretical knowledge into practice whilst developing skills that are invaluable for careers in teaching, Educational Psychology and child development.

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities
- Supporting teaching and learning as a Teaching Assistant
- Working with small groups and individual pupils as a Teaching Assistant
- Assisting children with SEND where required
- Helping teachers maintain an engaging classroom
- Building positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Providing flexible support as a Teaching Assistant
