TEACHING ASSISTANT

Full Time, Fixed Term Contract

Starting September 2026

Grade 6 - 32.5 hours

Cicely Haughton School caters for pupils aged 5-11 years with a range of social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH). The school offers day and boarding places dependant on need.

The post involves supporting pupils within class groups under the line management of teachers. Your job overview confirms you will assume responsibility for classes in the occasional absence of teachers. Previous experience in a school would be an advantage, but the successful candidate will have excellent levels of support and supervision. Staff with a sense of humour, high level of resilience and capable of maintaining high standards will find the job both stimulating and rewarding.
