Your Responsibilities
The Teaching Assistant (TA) plays a crucial role in:
- Working in partnership with teachers to enhance students' learning, attainment, independence, and self-esteem.
- Promoting social inclusion and ensuring all students can access the curriculum.
- Supporting students to develop confidence, participation, and a sense of achievement.
- Helping students achieve their full potential.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant apprenticeship or equivalent qualification (or a willingness to work towards it).
- A strong understanding of pupil learning needs and relevant pedagogy.
- Patience, empathy, calmness, and adaptability when engaging with diverse students and challenging situations.
- The ability to build trust and rapport with young people.
- The ability to engage, inspire, and enthuse students to foster a love of learning.
Additionally:
- Commitment to safeguarding and ability to align with Lift Schools’ safeguarding policies.
- Willingness to undergo Enhanced DBS and references checks.
