About The Role

Looking for an Early Years apprenticeship?

Kings Ash Academy is seeking an Early Years Teaching Assistant Apprentice to support the learning, development, and progress of pupils within our Early Years setting. You will join a dedicated and supportive team of professionals committed to delivering outstanding, creative, and engaging learning experiences for our children.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, empathetic, patient, and approachable individual with a genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of children while gaining valuable hands-on experience in an educational setting.

As an apprentice, you will play an active role in supporting teaching and learning across the academy while working towards a nationally recognised Early Years qualification. If successful, you will be enrolled on a Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship with South Devon College. Throughout your apprenticeship, you will receive dedicated support from your assessor coach, course tutor, and the experienced team at Kings Ash Academy, providing you with the guidance and opportunities needed to develop your skills and confidence every day.

Upon completion, you will receive a recognised L3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship Standard certificate.

The next Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship cohort begins on 6 October. Delivery takes place online every Tuesday evening, typically between 5pm and 8pm, making it accessible for those already working within a nursery setting.

We would love to hear from anyone who has the skills and enthusiasm to take on this role.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
