About This Role

Teaching Assistant
Corsham Primary School (Pound Pill site)
Salary: D4-D6, £25,185- £25,989 FTE
Actual Salary: £17,114 - £17,660 per annum
Working hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, working 38 weeks per year (term time, excluding TD days)

Working Pattern:

Teaching Assistant – 8.40am – 3.10pm (30 min unpaid lunchbreak – time tbc)

Job Summary

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and flexible individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant at Corsham Primary School (Pound Pill site). You will work closely with class teachers to support children's learning and development.

The role involves contributing to a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom, supporting learning through a range of activities, and working collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals where appropriate. Strong communication skills, patience, initiative, and a commitment to helping every child achieve their potential are essential.

Our School

Corsham Primary School is located in the picturesque Wiltshire market town of Corsham, near Bath, and is arranged over two sites located at either side of the town. Pound Pill site offers 14 classes and the Broadwood site houses 10 classes, both supporting children from Reception to Year 6.
