SEN Teaching Assistant: Stowmarket and Surrounding Areas
Are you a compassionate, resilient individual looking for a rewarding role where you can make a tangible difference? Whether you are an experienced specialist seeking absolute flexibility on a day-to-day basis or you are looking for the stability of a dedicated long-term placement, we offer professional opportunities tailored to your requirements.
We are currently partnering with a variety of established Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools, alternative provisions, and specialist inclusion units throughout Stowmarket and the surrounding areas. We are seeking committed, proactive Teaching Assistants to support pupils with diverse and complex learning needs.
This framework is ideal for experienced SEN practitioners, psychology graduates looking to build field hours, or mainstream learning support assistants aiming to transition their skills into a dedicated specialist environment.
Engagement Options
- Day-to-Day Cover: Maintain complete autonomy over your professional calendar. Select your working days on a weekly basis to seamlessly accommodate personal commitments, academic studies, or lifestyle preferences. This route offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to different specialist settings.
- Long-Term Opportunities: For educators seeking contractual continuity, we manage fixed-term assignments spanning a term or a full academic year (covering maternity leave, long-term absence, or interim vacancies). This allows you to integrate fully into a local specialist team and build deep, impactful relationships with the pupils you support.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
