Role: Teaching Assistant
Location: Salford (M27 + outreach to other local schools)
Pay: GBP14.25 to GBP16.65 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:00pm (one day until 4:00pm)
Contract: Full-time, Temp to Perm
Start Date: Sept 2026
Driving Licence: Essential
Reeson Education are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to take on a full-time, temp-to-perm role in a supportive setting based in the Salford area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who has a passion for helping pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide one-to-one SEMH support for a pupil aged 11-14 with emotional needs who has recently suffered an injury.
- Deliver group support sessions to other pupils with SEMH needs, encouraging engagement and positive participation.
- Work closely with teaching staff, pastoral leads, and external professionals to ensure every pupil has access to the right support.
- Undertake outreach work across nearby school sites in the Salford area - therefore a driving licence is essential.

- Have prior experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs.
- Be confident providing both one-to-one support and small group interventions.
- Hold a valid UK driving licence (essential for outreach responsibilities).
- Be available to work full-time, Monday to Friday.
