We are experiencing high demand for adaptable, passionate HLTAs who can step up to lead classrooms, deliver pre:planned lessons, and support teachers in raising pupil attainment across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.

Key Responsibilities
- Classroom Cover: Confidently take whole:class responsibility to cover planned teacher absences, scheduled PPA time, or short:term sickness, delivering pre:planned lessons across various primary subjects.
- Targeted Interventions: Plan, prepare, and deliver small:group or 1:1 interventions in literacy, numeracy, and phonics to help bridge learning gaps and boost pupil confidence.
- Collaboration: Work closely alongside class teachers to assess pupil progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt learning resources to suit diverse needs.
- Learning Environment: Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive classroom environment, utilising strong behaviour management skills to keep pupils motivated and focused.
What We Look For
- HLTA Status (or equivalent Level 4 qualification), or a recognised foundation degree in education. Experienced primary teachers looking for HLTA work are also highly welcomed.
- Proven experience independently leading whole classes within a primary school setting (EYFS, KS1, or KS2).
- Excellent knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum and primary age:group development.
- Outstanding communication skills, a proactive attitude, and confident classroom management.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to complete one).
