We are seeking to appoint a caring, patient and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team. Working alongside teachers, you will support pupils to access the curriculum, participate fully in learning and experience success in the classroom. You will help improve pupils' learning and attainment while promoting their independence, confidence, self-esteem and social inclusion. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping every child achieve their full potential.

About Lift Plumberow

Lift Plumberow is a vibrant and high achieving three form entry primary school in the heart of Hockley, educating around 650 pupils from Reception to Year 6. We are committed to giving every child the best possible start through engaging teaching and a broad, balanced curriculum that promotes curiosity and active learning.

Our Early Years and Key Stage 1 provision lays strong foundations, and throughout the school we offer a wide range of experiences that bring learning to life. We have a strong track record of academic success, with outcomes consistently above national averages, and are well known for our sporting achievements, including swimming lessons built into the curriculum.

We are a warm, inclusive and community focused school where positive relationships are at the centre of everything we do. Our dedicated staff team works closely with families to ensure every child feels supported, valued and able to thrive.

About The Role

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher, SENDCo and external professionals to support the child's communication, social interaction, emotional regulation and engagement in learning. The role will involve implementing personalised strategies and interventions to help the pupil access learning and achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
