Teaching Assistant Level 1
Salary Grade C (Points 4 to 6) — £25,185 to £25,989 (Full Time Equivalent) Salary pro-rata: minimum £15,756.89 per annum, subject to pro rata calculations. Permanent – Part-time (27.5 hours/week), Term-time only (38 weeks).

About the Role
We’re looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 1 to join Pheasant Bank Academy in September 2026. As a member of our team, you’ll support pupils— Ensuring they can access learning while assisting the teacher in classroom management.

Key Responsibilities
- Work directly under teaching/senior staff, typically supporting in class alongside the teacher.
- Provide general support to pupils, ensuring equality of access to learning.
- Assist with the management of pupils and classroom routines.
- Operate under guidance; duties may vary but will core to pupil inclusion.
