Teaching Assistant level 1/2
Weddington Primary School are looking to recruit two teaching assistants.
About the Role
The Governors and headteacher of this happy, caring school are looking for 2 Inspirational Teaching Assistants to work during term time.
We require 2 Teaching Assistants for the forthcoming academic year from September 2026, the posts will be for 1 permanent position and one fixed term until 31/8/2027.
The positions are Monday to Friday 32 hours and 30 mins per week TTO plus 5 teacher training days.

- Able to keep calm under pressure and prioritise.
- Has experience working with children and showing a high level of care.
- Has a variety of skills;
- Able to build good relationships with children and adults.
- Good communication.
- Empathy with pupils, especially those with learning difficulties.
- Good listening skills.
- Being patient.
- Being able to take direction but be prepared to take initiative when required.
- Have a good knowledge of how a school works.
