In this role, you’ll work closely with staff and students, building strong relationships and fostering a positive learning environment. To thrive, you’ll need a solid understanding of current practices in supporting children’s learning and behaviour management strategies, as well as knowledge in key areas such as literacy, numeracy, and science. Holding an NVQ for Teaching Assistants or demonstrating equivalent skills and experience is essential.

This role is an excellent opportunity for anyone considering a career in teaching. You’ll gain valuable insight into diverse teaching and learning styles while immersing yourself in the broader school experience. 32.5 hours per week, 39 working weeks per year.

Although this role is advertised as full time, we welcome part time applicants. The salary will be pro rata'd to those hours.

We have various positions available currently on a Fixed Term or Permanent basis, please state when applying if you are applying for the Permanent or Fixed Term position.
