Bridgnorth Endowed School
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and motivated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support pupils’ learning and development, helping to create a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils individually or in small groups to reinforce learning and promote progress
- Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation, delivery and classroom organisation
- Encourage pupils’ social, emotional and behavioural development
- Help maintain a safe, supportive and stimulating learning environment
- Support pupils with additional needs, following individual education or support plans where appropriate
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a relevant Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Has experience working with children in a school or educational setting
- Is patient, reliable and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Demonstrates good communication skills and a flexible, team-focused approach
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
