Teaching Assistant Level 3 – Pre-School

Holy Trinity CE Primary School Beechwood Road, London E8 3DY Temporary: From 1st September 2026 Salary: Scale 5 Point 12–15 (£29,364–£30,853) – Actual (£34,665–£36,422) Contract: 42.5 hours per week (all year round, including four compulsory week closures counted as leave) Closing Date: Monday 13th July 2026 at 9am Interviews: Thursday 16th July 2026

About the Role

We are looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support our Pre-School (0–2 years) provision. Ideal for someone who is:

  • Passionate about early years learning
  • Profoundly knowledgeable about child development and holistic learning approaches
  • Committed to working in a supportive, all-year-round role

Key Responsibilities

  • Teaching support for young children aged 0–2
  • Crafting nurturing, engaging learning environments
  • Collaborating with teachers on individualised learning plans

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Phase: Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant qualification is essential
  • Experience: Familiarity with various early years settings preferred
  • Personality: Highly motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic about child development
