About St Stephen's Church Of England Primary School

St Stephen’s CofE Primary School is proudly serving our diverse community with compassion to provide the best start for all. Our values of Compassion, Achievement, Respect for Everyone underpin everything we do, alongside The St Stephen’s seven: Respect, Trust, Perseverance, Forgiveness, Compassion, Thankfulness and Friendship.

We want all children to achieve the highest possible standards in every area of school life, and we do this by creating a safe, happy environment where pupils can flourish, grow in confidence and develop a lifelong love of learning.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital part in our EYFS provision, supporting young children as they begin to build the foundations for future success. Working closely with the class teacher and wider staff team, you will help create a calm, engaging and nurturing learning environment where every child feels valued and included.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the class teacher to plan and deliver engaging learning activities for individuals, small groups and the whole class, helping to bring learning to life in meaningful and purposeful ways.
  • Provide in-the-moment support during lessons, helping children remain focused, involved and ready to learn throughout the day.
  • Supervise the whole class and deliver pre-prepared activities during short-term teacher absence, ensuring learning continues smoothly and calmly.
  • Support the teacher with the day-to-day organisation and management of pupils and the classroom, contributing to a positive, orderly and well-managed environment.
  • Promote inclusion for all pupils, helping every child access learning, make progress and achieve their potential.
  • Play an active part in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, always working with professionalism, care and integrity.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
