Four Hills Education Trust - William Reynolds Primary School
Hours: 32.50 hours per week - 8:30am – 3:30pm
Term: Fixed term position (One year)
Required: September 2026
We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Teaching Assistant (Level 3) to join our supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and delivering learning activities.
- Support pupils individually and in groups to enhance learning.
- Help prepare and organise classroom resources and learning materials.
- Monitor and record pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers.
- Promote positive behaviour and classroom engagement.
- Build positive relationships with pupils to encourage confidence and independence.
- Support pupils' emotional well-being and personal development.
You're a perfect fit if you have:
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or an equivalent recognised qualification).
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills, including GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above, or equivalent).
- A good understanding of child development and effective learning strategies.
- Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), or a willingness to develop this expertise.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- A patient, caring, and adaptable approach to supporting children's learning and wellbeing.
- A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a genuine passion for helping every child achieve their full potential.
