Hours of work: 30 per week.

Working pattern: Part-time, term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave).

As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata.

Fixed term until: July 2027.

Priory School is a happy and thriving Secondary School based in Lewes, East Sussex. It is a very successful school with an excellent reputation.

The Governors are seeking to appoint 2 temporary Teaching Assistants, (from September/October 2026 until July 2027), a full-time and part-time role experienced in working with students with Special Educational Needs and in particular, students with Autism.

These positions are based on the main school site and within the Oak Centre (ASC Support Centre). The roles include supporting Oak students in mainstream lessons, as well as supporting at the Oak Centre. You may be required to deliver Primary and Secondary level 1:1 and small group lessons at the Oak Centre. You will be working with outstanding SEN professionals and teachers.
