Job Description
Hours of Work: 30 per week.
Working Pattern: Part-time, term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave).
Salary: As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata.
Fixed Term Until: July 2027.

About the Role:
Priory School is a happy and thriving Secondary School based in Lewes, East Sussex. It is a very successful school with an excellent reputation.
The Governors are seeking to appoint 2 temporary Teaching Assistants, (from September/October 2026 until July 2027), a full-time and part-time role experienced in working with students with Special Educational Needs and in particular, students with Autism.
Responsibilities:
- Positions are based on the main school site and within the Oak Centre (ASC Support Centre).
- Roles include supporting Oak students in mainstream lessons, as well as supporting at the Oak Centre.
- You may be required to deliver Primary and Secondary level 1:1 and small group lessons at the Oak Centre.
- You will be working with outstanding SEN professionals and teachers.

Requirements:
- Candidates should be confident, motivated, and dedicated.
- Able to demonstrate proactive behaviour management skills and adaptable teaching styles.
- Good academic qualifications and enhanced people skills.
Working Hours: 8.30 a.m. to 3.15 p.m. term time.
