Job Description

Hours of Work

  • 30 hours per week

Working Pattern

  • Part-time, Term-time only, working for 39 weeks per year
  • Plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service.

Salary

  • As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata.

Fixed Term

  • 11 months

Closing Date

  • Friday 4th September 2026, 9am

The Role

The Governors wish to appoint Teaching Assistants (fixed term, from September/October 2026 until July 2027) to work in the main school site experienced in working with students with Special Educational Needs. The post involves providing dedicated support to individuals and groups of students. Ideal candidates would have some experience of working with students with Dyslexia and/or Speech and Language difficulties. An interest in supporting students with Maths would be an advantage but not essential.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.15 pm term-time (plus inset days).
  • If you would prefer to work less than 30 hours a week, please include this in your application.
