- Salary: £24,796 per annum pro rata (£12.85 per hour)
- Hours: 30 hours per week, 8.45am – 3.15pm, Monday – Friday, term time only
- Contract: Permanent, required as soon as possible

About the Role
Honington CE Primary School is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support pupils' learning, development, and wellbeing, working closely with class teachers to help all children access the curriculum and achieve their best.
What will the job entail?
- Supporting children in class
- Working with individuals and small groups
- Helping to deliver planned interventions
- Preparing resources
- Supporting children during the wider school day
Responsibilities
- Support pupils with learning, behavior, and wellbeing
- Work with teachers to deliver planned activities and interventions
- Help create a calm, positive, and purposeful classroom
- Encourage children’s confidence, independence, and positive relationships
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school
Requirements
- A good standard of English and maths, ideally GCSE grade C/4 or above, or equivalent
- Experience of working with children, or the skills and attitude to succeed in the role
- To be warm, flexible, positive, and able to work well as part of a team
