Teaching Assistant (Russell Group Graduates Sought)
An all-through school in the London Borough of Newham, rated Outstanding by Ofsted, seeks full-time, term-time only Teaching Assistants starting in September 2026.
The school, having placed 20+ Russell Group graduates last year, now seeks to recruit another cohort. The Executive Head Teacher is committed to inspiring students while raising attainment through dedicated, high-achieving graduates.
Available Roles
- Primary Teaching Assistant – Supporting EYFS, KS1, & KS2
- LSA (Learning Support Assistant) – Specialised support for Primary or Secondary SEN pupils
- Secondary Teaching Assistant – Subject specialisms include:
- Maths
- Science
- English
- Geography
- Psychology
- History
- Sociology

- Location: London Borough of Newham
- Contract: Full-time, term-time only
- Start Date: September 2026
- Salary: £105 – £115 per day

Person Specification
Required qualifications & attributes:
- 1st or 2:1 Degree from a Russell Group University, alongside strong A-Level and GCSE grades
- A willingness to go above and beyond for the benefit of pupils
- Confidence and professionalism across all duties
- Ability to work effectively as a team player
