About The School

The Senior Leadership Team (SLT) is dedicated to fostering a supportive atmosphere where each child is empowered to achieve their full potential, regardless of their unique challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalised support to students with a variety of special educational needs, including those displaying challenging behaviours.
- Assist in the facilitation of engaging classroom activities while maintaining a positive and safe learning environment.
- Offer personal care support, including feeding, toileting, and hygiene assistance, as required.
- Implement Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with classroom teachers.
- Foster an encouraging environment that enhances student engagement and participation.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and support staff to deliver comprehensive education and care.

Qualifications
- Experience working with children with special educational needs is advantageous, but not mandatory.
- Capacity to manage and respond constructively to challenging behaviours.
- Willingness to provide personal care as needed.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential due to the school's location and off-site activities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A compassionate demeanour, patience, and genuine enthusiasm for supporting children with SEN.
